The Fest Is Here !

Ruia, the Queen of all colleges is all set to wear a Platinum necklace! Yes, folks, our beloved college turns 75 this year. Still, by no margin we can label it ‘old.' The sprit of Ruiaites is evergreen. The students as playful as ever, the students and teachers as talented as never before and the non-teaching staff  co-operative.

75th anniversary celebration is a huge milestone in Ruia's success story. And to celebrate this very remarkable milestone, Ruia cohesively brings to you SAMANVAY.

"Samanvay", meaning 'collaboration of several good things on an  equal platform'  is an initiative that raises a toast to Ruia's varying departments from arts and science stream and encourages a collective celebration to  commemorate this glorious occasion !

A very few of us might know that Ruia is the first native college of Mumbai, standing strong since June 1937. And that just gives one more reason to be proud of being Ruiaites!

Samanvay is a four day long celebration, were in all the departments of Ramnarain Ruia College will actively participate. This 75th  year truly enlightens the spirit of togetherness and a sense of pride in every Ruiaitie's heart.

Beginning on 13th of sept 2011, Samanvay will be loaded with events throughout all those four days, i.e: 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of September. Lots to learn and lots of fun!

A footfall of around 17,000 people is expected, who will come and be a part of Samanvay from all over Maharashtra. Needless to say, a grand and sumptuous affair is set in store.

A diverse range of events, adrenal pumping gaming sessions, illuminating seminars and guest talks, fun-filled competitons... all served on a single platter. Where? Only at samanvay. To make sure that everything goes butter smooth, the chefs of samanvay are conjuring up delightful dishes everyday with immense hard work and dedication

Ruia Knowledge Network, is making sure that no leaf is left unturn. So,the brochures are sent, the invites are done, the press release is in its place, the posters are put up, all hearts are racing and now its time to rock it!!!

At RKN ...

Things have been going hectic lately. There’s work, plenty of it and it’s meant to be done in a short span. And yeah, needless to say, there’s no room for blunders. The perks you get of being a Professional.

A person from your team comes running to you. This, this has happened.Work.Bring it on.

You reach home. By night, a headache has already started brewing. It settles one thing. You have been working. And seriously.

The workplace is in a state of heavy commotion. When so many brilliant minds buzz together in the pursuit of one goal, this is fine.

Our goal? On Ruia’s platinum jubilee, the celebrations have been set off in grand fashion with the fest SAMANVAY.Fun is assured because the potential of Ruia college is being showcased in one fine display of education, entertainment and much more.

I look forward to  this event, like an employee to a promotion,an artist to an inspiration, a performer to his results..a..

Oh,I am drifting off topic again.Work ,I started by mentioning it and now ,well,I am ..

Going back.To work :)

Interviews and YOU :)

You walked in the room, hoping all goes 'okay'.Anxious ,apprehensive and all but wanting to get selected.Resume in hand and a smile on your face.
That was You.At the Interviews.

Up at the aisles, awaited the devils.Or was it ?I think the interviewers rather. You went up to them ,gave an intro and tried to express that which is You.A talented person and that which Ruia Knowledge Network was looking for.

Done with the interviews and still don't know.I was anxious before or am I now?For soon ,the results will be out.

You get selected.Well and good. You are on your way to be a Professional.

You don't .Be dejected,be unhappy. It's stupid either ways. You had the guts and the passion to apply and that in itself is an acheivment. You keep applying and ultimately you will find your calling. You will get selected,if the zeal to work and the passion to perform shows a little more.

Interviewing you all was a superb experience. We just got to know the incredible amount of talent this college has.
Best of Luck !
